The home striker fired home to level the game. Maud regained their lead when a Hall corner curled straight into the net. Fraser went close after a clearance came off the Ref but his shot hit the side netting. The home side levelled late in the first half with a break down the right was drilled across the 6 yard box where the home striker had a simple tap in. HT 2 - 2

The visitors broke up field on the left and a Norris cross was fired high over the bar from Bremner. Fyfe was smartly off his line to block a shot from the Hive striker. The same player was put clear in on the Maud goals but he took a heavy touch and shot wide. Maud had a lucky escape when a corner hit the top of the bar and away. The home side regained the lead from a corner the home centre half header found the net. Maud bounced back and drew level when Bremner fored in from a Smart cross. Fyfe did well to save from the Hive substitute. Last chance of the match was a Mair mazy run but his shot was off target.
