Maud travelled to face Culter in their last game of the season and were down to the bare bones of a team but they started well with Smart setting up McDonald who shot wide. A Robertson drive went close for the home side then a ball through the Maud defence found Robertson but Fyfe made a fine save. Davidson header was well off target then a poor pass back by Davidson was short and left Horne with just Fyfe to beat but the keeper managed to parry wide his shot. The visitor’s took the lead when a Smith free kick caught out Duncan in the home goal from the edge of the box.

HT 0 - 1

Maud started the second half well and Davidson brought out a fine flying save by Duncan in the home goal from a Wilson corner. Smyth tried a shot from distance but was well wide of the goals. The home side drew level when Anderson volley caught Fyfe off his line and found the top corner of the net. A Smith cross was headed inches past the post from Wilson. A long ball forward by Davidson found Reid who managed to head past the keeper but Robertson got back in time to block the shot on goal. The Maud goal had a scare late on when keeper miss judged the ball and a Gordon header was cleared off the line by Duguid.
