Maud travelled to Banchory in a league match after the game past a pitch inspection at 11am. After a poor kick out by the home keeper a first time shot from Duguid went close. Fyfe did well to stretch and catch a header back from Lawson which looked to be looping over the keeper. Peter did well on the right but dragged his shot wide from a tight angle. Downie had the ball in the Banchory net but was ruled to be offside. Mackie created space on the edge of the Maud box but shot straight at Fyfe who gathered comfortably. Downie had to be carried off with an ankle injury to be replaced by Trialist Ritchie. Just on half time Maud went in front when Whyte sent in an inviting cross which was met by Ritchie who made no mistake from 6 yards.

                              HT 0 – 1

Lawson did well to block a shot by the dangerous Simpson. Smart went close with a header from a Whyte free Kick. Good lead up play by the home side let substitute Colbert in to lash home. Fyfe made a fine soave from a shot by Simpson. A Duguid shot was deflected for a corner which Reid swung in and keeper Buchan dropped the ball was scrambled clear. The home side went in front after a fine run by Simpson whose shot found the bottom corner. Two minutes after Duguid squared the match with a terrific strike finding the top corner from 20 yards. A good run by Simpson who cut in from the right and squared for Croll to tap home. As time was running out T Ritchie did well on the right and his cross to the back post where Duguid calmly slotted home. The match ended all square with both sides deserving a point
