Maud welcomed Colony Park in a Superleague game and the away keeper Farquhar twice had to punch clear crosses when under pressure. Farquhar needed 2 attempts to save from a snap shot by Duguid. Home keeper Fyfe did well to come rushing out to save at the feet of the away side striker Strachan. A Davidson cross was headed on by     Douglas and Ross could only head into the arms of Fyfe. Maud went close when Davidson was on the end of a Wilson cross but couldn't get enough on his shot and the chance was gone. The home side went in front when Farquhar parried a shot from Davidson and Ritchie was first to react to prod home. Soon it was 2 nil after Farquhar once more parried a shot from Just before half time Smith and Ritchie was on hand to score is second. Just on half time a shot from distance by Thomson went close                         HT 2 - 0

Maud pressed from the start and Ritchie came close to netting his hatrick when his looping shot came back off the crossbar. Thomson was lucky not to see red after a poor challenge just earned him a caution. The visitors were awarded a soft penalty but Fyfe pulled off a wonderful save from the spot kick Bonarius. Another cross proved fruitfall for the home side when Farquhar punched clear as far as Duguid who guided the ball into the corner of the net. Sculley played a fine ball down the line for Smart and his first time cross was guided past Farquhar by Still. The away side pulled a goal back when a Strachan shot was deflected through the legs of Fyfe. From a Wilson corner Lawson rose high to head a fifth for the home side. The away side ended the game with 10 men after Bonaruis was shown a second yellow.

FT 5– 1

This was a fine performance for the home side with the whole team contributing running out comfortable winners and earning a vital 3 league points
