2019-20 Signings

We welcome defender Mark Stainton (pictured) to Pleasure Park from Longside JFC. Very accomplished defensive player comfortable in several positions, Mark signs a 1 year deal, bringing experience and leadership to the squad along with his ability to play football to a very high standard.

Maud would also like to welcome midfielder Jamie Black on a 2 year deal from Culter JFC. Jamie was identified as a target by manager Robbie Wildgoose early in the summer, and we are very happy to get Jamie in who will add not only strength into the middle of the park, but a massive amount of composure and ball retention ability to our squad. Jamie was very well sought after in the junior circuit and we are delighted to not only add Jamie to our squad, but on a 2 year deal also.

A warm welcome to both signings.

Maud JFC are delighted to welcome back midfielder Reigan Thomson from Scottish League 2 side Cove Rangers.

Reigan was with the club for the second half of the season last year, and Manager Wildgoose set out early to retain his services again.

Strong in tackle, good on ball and tenacious in the press, Thomson has been with the club all through pre season and we are delighted to get the deal done again for a season long loan.

Reigan will wear the number 14 this season, and is still available to sponsor.

Welcome back to Pleasure Park, Reegz.

Maud JFC are happy to announce the signing of promising young defender Kian McCredie on loan from Keith FC.

Kian is a big, strong centre half who covers the ground very well, and impressed so much that he featured for Keith’s first team last season and won the under 17s player of the year.

Kian started with us from the start of pre season, but a knee injury delayed his start but now he’s back we are delighted to announce the signing.

Welcome, Kian.

Player news... after putting pen to paper on Wednesday, new signing Kevin Park was at training with the boys today to pose for the cameras and had this to say about joining Maud “From a personal point of view, I want to get back enjoying football, and after a few sessions with Maud, I have been really enjoying it. It’s a great setup, great group of lads with excellent team spirit, and once the management team expressed their strong interest in me it was a no a brainer, when a superleague team came knocking, I had to take on the challenge and try play at the highest level I can. I’m Looking forward to it and hopefully can add something to the current squad”

Elsewhere in the squad, we wish to wish striker Max McGinlay all the best after he decided to leave both Maud and his parent club Inverurie to go back down to juvenile level.

Welcome to KP, and all the best to Max.

Craig Marshall joins us on loan from Bridge of Don Thistle. We would like to thank Barry Park and Lewis Muirhead for making the deal happen so quickly, and we welcome Craig into the squad.

Ben Hastie puts pen to paper. We are delighted to get Ben on board. Although still young he will add experience to the squad after playing 6 seasons with Buchanhaven Hearts. Ben is currently injured but we look forward to getting him back playing ASAP with the help of our club physio, which was a massive selling point in attracting Ben to the club, aswell as joining back up with Manager Kevin Park.
