Maud JFC are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Craig Gill on a season's long loan from Inverurie Loco Works FC.
Manager Allan Hale said "Craig had been training with the club prior to my arrival with a view to a loan deal and since my arrival Craig has shown up well in training. Despite being a young player he possesses good composure and confidence on the ball as well as having tenacity in his play therefore he fits the bill of the type of player we like to work with. We look forward to seeing Craig in game like situations as well as working with him over the course of season ahead."
Manager Allan Hale said "I am pleased to welcome Kenny to Maud. Kenny was signed on a pre-contract agreement under the management of Chris & Mike however when I accepted the position and was aware of the agreement I was still keen on finalising the deal. I have worked with Kenny previously when he was on loan to Maud during my first spell at the club and have obviously seen him in action at 20s and first team games at Turriff during my spell at Keith therefore I am aware of his qualities and feel he will be a very good signing for the club and I am sure he will integrate himself as a key player during his time with us at Maud."
Maud JFC are delighted to announce the signing of Courtney Cooper from Keith FC on a two-year contract.
Manager Allan Hale said “I am delighted to welcome Courtney to Maud. With Courtney working offshore he felt he could no longer commit to the demands of HL football therefore when I heard of his potential availability we had no hesitation in making a move for his services. Courtney has served the highland league well in terms of his performances for both Fraserburgh and Keith over the years and he arrives being a key part of my ambition for the club moving forward. Courtney is composed on the ball, has a wide range of passing ability, has a fantastic delivery and reads the game superbly well for someone still relatively young in the game and for me this is the type of signing I will be looking to bring to Maud. I’d, finally, wish to thank Andy Troup at Keith FC for his cooperation throughout discussions.”
Maud JFC would also like to welcome Hannah to the backroom staff as Assistant Physio/First Aider. Hannah will work alongside First Aid man, Graeme Bain looking after the players and any injuries they sustain during the season. As a trainee, she will only be advising the players on any injuries they sustain but will be the link to our official Physios should any players require further treatment but as Hanna us also a Sport Massage Therapist, she wil be advising the player on their wellbeing as well.
Backroom Staff additions
Manager Allan Hale said "Gavin, Graeme and I are delighted to welcome Cameron back to Maud and we are particularly pleased to be working alongside him again. When we left Maud for Keith, and despite attempts to bring Cameron with us, he unfortunately was unable to combine his coaching responsibilities within his position at Aberdeen Football Club and Keith together therefore it's particularly pleasing to have him back on board working as part of our team. Cameron is an excellent coach who has extensive game knowledge, despite being a young coach, as well as completing his UEFA B Licence recently therefore he is a great addition to the backroom team."
Maud Junior Football Club
Maud JFC are delighted to announce the signing of striker Ethan Grant on a season-long loan from Inverurie Loco Works FC.
Manager Allan Hale said "I am very pleased to have secured the signing of Ethan on a loan deal. Ethan has been training with the club throughout pre-season with the view to the loan deal and he has impressed all the coaching staff within that period. Despite being a young striker who is still learning and developing within the game he has a good coaching and playing background having been with Aberdeen FC and Ross County FC. Ethan is a striker who holds the ball in well and his link up play is strong and signing gives much needed options and competition within the strikers positions and we look forward to working with him over the course of the season."
Maud JFC are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Scott Fowlie on a loan from Fraserburgh FC, initially until the end of 2017.
Manager Allan Hale said “I am delighted to welcome Scott to Maud on loan. Scott is a player I have always admired as he is someone who technically is very gifted and he is also versatile in the positions he can play which enhances our selection options. Scott is someone who will fit well into our style of play as he is a player who is composed when in possession of the ball, is tenacious in his pressing abilities and is intelligent off the ball in terms of his movement to receive. Scott has recently come back from a couple of years travelling so naturally will take time to get himself up to speed in terms of match sharpness however we welcome him into the squad and look forward to working with him over the next few months initially.
Maud JFC are delighted to announce the signing of defender, and ex player, Frazer Hall from Keith FC on a two-year contract.
Manager Allan Hale said “I am delighted to welcome Frazer back to Maud on a permanent basis. I’ve worked and managed Frazer for five years now where he has always maintained a high level of consistency within his performances and he is a player I trust immensely when selected. With Frazer having recently joined the Police thus restricting his availability and commitment to playing highland league football Frazer felt a move back to juniors would be best suited to him and I’m delighted that there was only one club he wanted to return to. Frazer has great qualities within his game and he is a player who understands our demands and methods therefore he will fit seamlessly into the squad and I’m delighted to be working with him again at Maud. Once again I’d like to thank Keith FC Chairman Andy Troup and Manager Ewan Robb for their cooperation throughout discussions
Maud JFC are delighted to announce the signing of defender Nathan Stuart on loan from Fraserburgh FC until Christmas 2017.
Manager Allan Hale said "I am very pleased to have Nathan on board with us. Nathan impressed Gavin and myself at times when we watched and played against Fraserburgh last season when at Keith and he is a player who fits in well to our style of player. Nathan is an attacking full back who possesses good composure on the ball for a young player but he is also strong defensively therefore will be a good addition to the squad as it enhances pur options further. I'm sure this is a deal which will benefit Nathan, Fraserburgh FC and Maud JFC are we are looking forward to working with Nathan for the next few months."
Breaking News - January 2018
Defender Martin Crisp has signed a contract extension tying him to the club until the summer of 2020.
Manager Allan Hale said "I am delighted to have Crispy tied up on a contract extension. Crispy has been an ever present in the squad since our arrival where he has produced a high level of performance and consistency within his game. Crispy has a lot of strong attributes to his game and we feel he will develop to become a more complete player over the course of his extension as we work to establish him as one of the leading defenders in the Juniors and we are delighted that he has commited to us and the football club."
Speaking of his new deal Crisp said "Since Allan and the coaching team have came back there's been a buzz about the place again and I've been working hard with them to improve my game so it's a real confidence boost being offered the new deal. Its exciting the direction the clubs going in just now so looking forward to continuing to work hard and hopefully being a part of the success the club wants to have over the next couple of years."
Maud JFC are delighted to announce that midfielder Craig Ritchie has agreed and penned a three year contract extension with the club.
Manager Allan Hale said “I’m delighted that Craig has agreed to his contract extension in what was probably the easiest signing negotiations I have conducted as a manager. Craig is extremely committed to the club and is very much a key player to the club. When I became a manager Craig was my first ever signing and is a player who never lets you down with his performances. He is a very assured player in possession of the ball and is a player who has an excellent attitude within his training and performances. He still has areas of his game to improve and he is working hard on those sides of his game but he is an integral part of our squad and we are delighted to have him commit his long term future with the club.
Manager Allan Hale said “Firstly I wish to thank Fraserburgh FC manager Mark Cowie for allowing the deal to go ahead and I need to praise Joe for his eagerness to come to the club. Joe is a player we have worked with at Maud previously and as a former team mate at The Broch too we are aware of his qualities and he is a welcome addition to our squad. Joe’s signing allows me the opportunity to send our young goalkeeper Grant Stephen on loan for him to gain valuable match experience where Joe will come in and push current number one Rhys Fyfe for the jersey such is his quality so we are very happy to have him on board at the club and are sure it will be a strong addition for us throughout the loan duration.”
Maud JFC are delighted to announce the loan signing of Ryan Sargent from Fraserburgh FC.
Manager Allan Hale said “I am delighted to welcome Ryan to the football club and, again, very grateful to Fraserburgh FC manager Mark Cowie for agreeing to the deal. Ryan is a player I have admired for some time and is clearly a player who has a very bright future ahead of him in the game. We look forward to working with him over the next couple of months where i’m sure the agreement will be beneficial to Ryan, ourselves and of course Fraserburgh FC.”
Maud JFC are delighted to announce the signing of Sean Bremner after his return from Australia.
Manager Allan Hale said “I am delighted to welcome Sean back to Maud and personally I am delighted to be working with Sean again. Sean has been training with a few clubs since his return from Australia as he, understandably, wanted to consider all of his options and we are extremely pleased that he has chosen to join Maud. Sean was a key player under us during our previous spell at the club and he returns from Australia a more mature player in regards to his all round game. We have been looking to add pace and a directness into our squad for sometime now, especially in advanced areas of the park, therefore with the addition of Sean and Ryan Sargent recently signing on loan it enhances our attacking options and allows us to be a little more flexible in regards to our set-up. On behalf of everyone at the club we welcome Sean back to Maud FC where we are sure he will be as valuable to us as he was first time round.
