Your Club 'STILL!' needs YOUR Help !!

Maud Junior Football Club are looking for someone to help maintain the grounds at Maud Pleasure Park on a regular basis.

This would ideally be suited to someone with some spare time each week and who would like to play a part in assisting the football club.

Perhaps yourself or someone you may know who is semi-retired/retired that this may be of interest to?

Assisting with the maintenance of the playing/training pitches, strimming, weeding etc

Committee members will also help with these tasks when available too.

As a club, we always welcome any support and warmly invite anyone who would like to participate or contribute in the running of the club to get in contact for more information.

Tonight the Management and Players held their Awards night and the following Players won the ones below

Robbie, Grant, Ryan (some bloke in a pink shirt!) and Stevie with their Awards

Ryan Smart - Leading Goalscorer (16 goals)

Grant Thomson -  Players Player of the Season

Stevie Whyte - Player of the Season

Ryan Tyler Chicken - Young Player of the Season

Maud are delighted to announce their first 2 signings of the summer.

Firstly, we welcome defender Mark Stainton (pictured) to Pleasure Park from Longside JFC. Very accomplished defensive player comfortable in several positions, Mark signs a 1 year deal, bringing experience and leadership to the squad along with his ability to play football to a very high standard.

Maud would also like to welcome midfielder Jamie Black on a 2 year deal from Culter JFC. Jamie was identified as a target by manager Robbie Wildgoose early in the summer, and we are very happy to get Jamie in who will add not only strength into the middle of the park, but a massive amount of composure and ball retention ability to our squad. Jamie was very well sought after in the junior circuit and we are delighted to not only add Jamie to our squad, but on a 2 year deal also.

A warm welcome to both signings, more signing news to follow in the coming weeks after the boys return to pre season on Monday the 24th.

Mon the Maud!
